Dr. Sudhanshu Mani is an academic and tourism specialist whose research focus centers on eco-tourism planning, wellness tourism, and heritage conservation. He completed his entire higher education at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), earning a Bachelor of Arts in French (2014), a Master of Tourism Administration (2016), and a Ph.D. in Tourism Administration (2024). His doctoral dissertation utilized the Eco Tourism Opportunity Spectrum to assess the regional tourism potential of the Sonbhadra region in Uttar Pradesh. Currently serving as Assistant Professor (Contractual) and Coordinator at the University of Ladakh, Leh Campus, Dr. Mani oversees academic operations, curriculum alignment with NEP-2020, and student mentoring. His prior teaching appointments include serving as a Teach for BHU Fellow (2024β2025) and as a doctoral Teaching Assistant at BHU, where he specialized in hospitality training and SPSS-based quantitative research methodologies. Dr. Maniβs research portfolio comprises five peer-reviewed journal articles addressing smart cities, millennial travel trends, and regional eco-tourism. He also authored a book chapter on heritage tourism in Varanasi published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group). A lifetime member of the Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress, Dr. Mani has presented at major forums such as IITTM Noida and the Indian Historical Research Council and served on the organizing committee for the 2018 Indo-Norwegian International Meet.
