Mr. Nawaz Ali hails from Loungjuk Saliskote, Kargil Ladakh. He joined the University of Ladakh as Assistant Registrar in 2025, and has since been contributing significantly to the effective management of the University’s academic and administrative affairs. He currently holds the charge of Assistant Registrar (Finance) and also serves as In-Charge Finance at the University of Ladakh. He holds a postgraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Kashmir. In addition, he has qualified the UGC NET-JRF in Commerce. Prior to joining the University of Ladakh, he served as Assistant Professor in Commerce (on contract) at Government Degree College Kargil for two years. He has also authored several research papers published in various academic journals. With a strong academic background and professional experience, professionalism, integrity, and commitment to duty, Mr. Nawaz Ali is actively involved in streamlining administrative processes and enhancing institutional efficiency at University of Ladakh.
Ms. Jigmet Chondol, hailing from Hunder, Nubra, is Assistant Registrar at the University of Ladakh, overseeing the Establishment Section. She also holds additional responsibilities as the Public Information Officer (PIO) and Nodal Officer for AISHE. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Economics from Panjab University and has qualified UGC NET and JK SET examinations, along with a B.Ed. qualification.
