About

Department of Education was established in the year 2022. Initially the Department had started  with an intake capacity of 50 students in both M.A Education and Two year B.Ed programme. The department provides quality teaching, practical experience, school internship and a unique chance to share and develop the vision, knowledge, initiative and critical thinking needed to meet professional changes and community needs.

Train middle level managers of education to effectively manage self and the educational institution in their charge, To develop a positive attitute towards teaching and learning, To train teachers in making teaching learning joyful, To prepare teacher educators who have sound knowledge base, essential professional skills and humanitarian values and ethics, To build self disciplined individuals who appreciates work and manage time efficiently.

It aims at building a community of teachers and teacher educators processing a sound theroetical base in the discipline of education, an ability to analytically examine and evaluate the knowledge acquired and apply the same in their respective fields.

Participation of students in various activities, use of learning resources, multimedia and internet resources for teaching learning process, through practice of teaching learning process pupil teacher will develop skills like- critical thinking, brainstorming, listining skill, leadership quality, body language, reasoning ability etc.
