Dr. Jyoti Falswal is an Assistant Professor of Zoology specializing in entomology, bee taxonomy, and pollinator biodiversity. She teaches postgraduate courses, supervises M.Sc. dissertations, and is actively involved in academic administration and organizing international scientific conferences. Her research focuses on the systematics and diversity of wild bees, particularly the family Halictidae. Her work includes taxonomic research, biodiversity documentation, and scientific publications, contributing to the understanding and conservation of India's native bee fauna. She earned her Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Delhi and qualified CSIR-UGC NET in Life Sciences. She has worked with ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute on projects related to insect biodiversity and agricultural entomology and has published several research papers in reputed journals. She has secured patents related to leafhopper species and has received awards for outstanding research presentations at international conferences, recognizing her contributions to entomological research and scientific innovation.
