Academic Biography

Dr. Imtiyaz Hussain is an Assistant Professor of Botany at the University of Ladakh with expertise in plant nanotechnology, allelopathy and sustainable agriculture. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Allahabad and has qualified the CSIR–UGC JRF (NET) and GATE examinations. His research has been published in leading international journals and has received over 3,200 citations with an h-index of 17. He was recognized among the Stanford University–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists in 2022, 2024 and 2025. He also have YouTube channel "Biology by Dr. Imtiyaz," featuring 100+ lectures, 30,000+ subscribers, and 3.8 million+ views.
