Academic Biography

I am a dedicated academic and researcher specializing in Urdu studies, I hold a Ph.D. in Urdu from Banaras Hindu University, awarded in 2023, and I qualified for the UGC-NET in 2020. My academic foundation includes a Post Graduation (M.A.) in Urdu from the University of Jammu (2014), along with a B.Ed(2011) and a B.A.(2010) from the same institution. Additionally, I have completed a one-year diploma in Computer Applications, Business Accounting, and Multilingual DTP, and I possess working knowledge of InPage Urdu software & MS Word I bring significant experience to the field of higher education, with two years of experience in higher education and two years of experience as a PGT. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus. My professional development is marked by active participation in various national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences, including programs focused on NEP 2020 and research methodology in social sciences. My research portfolio is extensive, featuring numerous publications in UGC CARE and peer-reviewed journals. My work spans diverse themes within Urdu literature and cultural studies, including: Literary Analysis:- Studies on figures such as Shibli, Qazi Abdul Wadood, and Ajay Malviya. Cultural and Religious Perspectives:- Exploration of the Bhagvad Geeta and Ramayan within the context of Urdu literature. Historical and Academic Contexts:- Research on the role of poets in the freedom struggle and the significance of various cultural academies. I am recognized for my student-centric approach, which emphasizes conceptual clarity, inclusive learning, and academic curiosity. I am a disciplined, hardworking professional who prides myself on the ability to adapt quickly to new teaching methods, digital academic tools, and evolving educational guidelines. My commitment to my field is reflected in my comprehensive research output and my ongoing dedication to both teaching and scholarly inquiry.
