Assistant ProfessorAcademic Biography
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) at the University of Ladakh, India. I completed my M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the University of Delhi, India. I have qualified the UGC-NET JRF, JKSET, and CTET examinations. My academic interests lie in emerging research approaches, particularly in exploring marginalisation through the lenses of power and hegemony, and in understanding the nuanced dimensions of tribalism in contemporary societies. My research has been published in several reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals, and I have presented research papers at numerous national and international seminars and conferences. Beyond research, I have actively contributed to academic policy and curriculum development. I have been invited as a Resource Person for various policy-level academic initiatives, including serving as a Special Invitee for the development of the State Curriculum Framework (Social Science). I have also served as a Resource Person for Higher Education under the Union Territory Administration.
