Dr. Gh. Ali

Academic Biography

I am Dr. Gh. Ali, currently serving as an Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Kargil Campus, University of Ladakh, Khumbathang (Saliskot), Kargil, India. I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Kashmir University. I qualified CSIR-NET JRF in Chemical Sciences (2014), Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test in Chemical Sciences (2013), and UGC-NET in Education (2014). I also earned B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees from Kashmir University and completed my Ph.D. from Gujarat University. My professional journey began as an Accounts Assistant in the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department, Jammu and Kashmir (2011–2013). I later worked as a PGT Chemistry teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in 2014 and subsequently served as a Chemist in the Geological Survey of India from December 2014 to March 2018. Since 2018, I have been working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of Ladakh, where I am actively involved in teaching, academic development, curriculum development and research activities.
