Dr. Mohd Ali
Assistant ProfessorAcademic Biography
Dr. Mohd Ali is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus. He earned his Ph.D. in 2024 from Dept. of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University- Varanasi, with research focused on barium titanate-based nanomaterials for sensing, catalysis, and environmental remediation. His research interests include nanotechnology, functional materials, electrochemical sensing, photocatalysis, piezocatalysis, and energy-related applications. He has published more than 15 research papers in peer-reviewed journals, contributed two book chapters. At the University of Ladakh, Dr. Ali teaches postgraduate physics courses and is actively involved in curriculum development, laboratory establishment, and student mentoring. His work aims to advance sustainable technologies while promoting excellence in physics education and research.
