Mr. Arvind Kumar

Academic Biography

Mr. Arvind Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus. He previously also served as a Guest Faculty at the Central University of Jammu. He holds an M.Phil. in Political Science and is pursuing a Ph.D. on One-Party Dominance in Indian Politics: A Comparative Study of the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. His teaching and research interests include Indian Politics, Comparative Politics, Political Theory, Electoral Studies, Public Policy, Governance, and Political Research Methodology. Mr. Kumar has published and presented impactful research on party systems, electoral politics, and democratic governance. He is committed to promoting critical inquiry, empirical research, and academic excellence through teaching, research, and scholarly engagement.
