Assistant ProfessorAcademic Biography
Mr. Mohsin Ali completed his Higher Secondary education from Government Higher Secondary School, Sankoo, in 2000. He earned his B.Sc. from G.G.M. Science College, Jammu, in 2004, followed by a B.Ed. from Government College of Education, Jammu, in 2005, and an M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Jammu in 2007. He qualified the CSIRโUGC NET with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Life Sciences twice, in 2006 and 2007. He began his professional career as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in the School Education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, in 2010. In 2017, he joined the Higher Education Department as an Assistant Professor of Zoology and is currently serving at the University of Ladakh. Since 2020, he has been serving as the Member Secretary, Board of Studies in Zoology, University of Ladakh, contributing to curriculum development and academic governance in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. His academic interests include biodiversity, ecology, evolutionary biology, conservation biology, and higher education curriculum design.
