Mr. Tashi dawa

Academic Biography

I, Tashi Dawa, hold a Master's degree in Agronomy. I was selected as a Technical Assistant at HARES, SKUAST-K, in 2015. I served as a Technical Assistant in Zanskar until 2017. In 2017, I was posted to KVK Zanskar as a Programme Assistant. In addition to my regular responsibilities, I have been entrusted with the additional charge of Farm Manager, a role I continue to perform. Throughout my career, I have worked diligently to disseminate improved agricultural technologies among farmers with the aim of enhancing their productivity and livelihoods. I have actively assisted the scientists of KVK in planning and conducting farmer training programmes, On-Farm Trials (OFTs), Frontline Demonstrations (FLDs), field visits, extension activities, and other technology transfer programmes. I remain committed to strengthening the agricultural sector through effective extension services, farmer capacity building, and the promotion of sustainable farming practices.
