Mr. Vijay Singh Sen

Academic Biography

My name is Vijay Singh Sen, and I hail from Village Borna, Tehsil and District Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir. I completed my Matriculation from New Era Public High School, Kishtwar in 2008, followed by Higher Secondary (10+2) from Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Kishtwar in 2010. I earned my Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Government MAM Post Graduate College, Jammu, and subsequently completed my Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu, during the academic session 2013–2016. I have been fortunate to qualify the UGC-NET examination three times (November 2017, July 2018, and December 2018), JKSET in 2018, and the prestigious UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in July 2019. My professional journey began as a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu, in 2018. Subsequently, I served as a Lecturer in the same department during the academic session 2019–2020, where I gained valuable experience in teaching and research. Since October 2025, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Department of Computer Science and IT, Kargil Campus, University of Ladakh. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Department of Computer Science and IT, University of Jammu. As part of my doctoral programme, I have successfully presented my Pre-Ph.D. seminar and submitted my Ph.D. abstract along with all the required formalities. My research work has been completed, and I am presently in the process of submitting my Ph.D. thesis. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have remained committed to learning, teaching, and research with sincerity and dedication. I strive to contribute meaningfully to the field of Computer Science through quality education, research, and continuous professional development, while upholding the values of integrity, perseverance, and academic excellence.
