Two Week Capacity Building Program focused on research design, analytical methods, academic writing, AI, AYUSH, health, and development research

The Two-Week Capacity Building Programme is an ICSSR-sponsored academic initiative organized by the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus, to strengthen the research capabilities of faculty members, early-career researchers, and professionals working in the fields of social sciences, health, AYUSH, and development studies. The programme is designed to address the growing need for interdisciplinary, evidence-based, and technology-enabled research in today's rapidly evolving academic landscape.

Participants will receive comprehensive training in research design, quantitative and qualitative analytical methods, academic writing, publication ethics, literature review, proposal writing, and responsible research practices. A key highlight of the programme is the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into research workflows, enabling participants to leverage modern digital tools for data analysis, interpretation, academic writing, and evidence generation.

The programme places special emphasis on the intersection of AYUSH, public health, indigenous knowledge systems, and development research, with particular relevance to the Himalayan region and other remote communities. Through expert lectures, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and collaborative learning, participants will gain both conceptual knowledge and hands-on experience in contemporary research methodologies.
