Department of Education, University of Ladakh organised an educational tour of six days L.e., from 12-11-22 to 17-11-22 to Kargil district. The purpose of educational tour is to provide students the joy of discovery and opportunity to learn new things through travel. The students are able to view the world from fresh perspectives outside the scope of a monotonous curriculum. This tour allows students to integrate various experience to learn in an improved manner and get insights into various culture and global perspectives. It also enhances life skills like team building, time management etc. There is total 15 students and 2 faculty members namely Dr. Raj Kumar & Dr. Stanzin Nouskit from Department of Education (B. Ed), Leh Campus, University of Ladakh. The tour was Flagged off by Register of the Ladakh University, Prof. Ashok Kumar Sharma from Head office Melongthang, Leh. The places where the students visited during the tour was Maitreya Buddha Statue at Mulbeck Chamba, Hunderman village and Museum of Memories, Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum of Central Asian and Kargil Trade Artefacts, Sankoo valley, Government Middle School Karith, Kargil and Shargole cave Monastery
