Inter-department Tennis-ball cricket tournament (Men’s/Women’s) concluded at University of Ladakh, Leh Campus

Inter-department Tennis-ball cricket tournament (Men’s/Women’s) concluded at University of Ladakh, Leh Campus Twelve (12) teams (Men’s and women’s) from various departments of the Leh Campus participated in the Tennis-ball Cricket tournament, organized by the Department of Physical Education, University of Ladakh. The final match (women’s) was played between the Department of Education and the Department of Mathematics, where the Department of Education emerged as winners of the tournament by 18 runs. In the Men’s final match Department of Zoology defeated the Department of Commerce by 21 runs. Earlier Prof. Deskyong Namgyal, Dean Academic Affairs, University of Ladakh interacted with the participants and inaugurated the women’s final match. The final match was attended by the faculties and students of the Leh Campus. Dr. Sonam Joldan, Dean Research University of Ladakh distributed the trophy among the winners. Dr. Jigmat Dachen, Dean Students Welfare under whose supervision the tournament was conducted, congratulates the winners and compliments the students for actively participating in the different scholastic and co-scholastic activates of the University.
