A two-day Conclave on “National Education Policy implementation in UT Ladakh” under National Education Policy (NEP-2020) was held in University of Ladakh on 09/12/2022 and 10/12/2022. The conclave aimed at implementation of NEP-2020 in Ladakh. The conclave was graced by various eminent personalities from different field of educational institutions of Ladakh. The Chief Guest for the inauguration session was Honorable Vice-Chancellor, University of Ladakh, Prof. S. K. Mehta and the Guest of Honor was Ms. Padma Angmo, Commissioner Secretary Higher Education. The valedictory session saw the presence of Honorable Lieutenant-Governor and Chancellor of University, Shri R.K. Mathur, Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Mehta, Commissioner Secretary Ms. Padma Angmo, Director FTII Prof. Sandeep Shahare. In the Conclave the Curriculum Framework on Four Year Under Graduate Program was released by Honorable Lieutenant Governor and other dignitaries. Honorable Lieutenant Governor focused on NEP as an instrument of changing the society. Skill certification of Ladakh with the motto, “One skill, one degree holder” was highlighted by him.
