Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu & University of Ladakh

University of Ladakh on 18th of December signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu for academic cooperation, faculty exchange, joint research, and other relevant areas of mutual interest. The MoU was signed by Prof B S Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu and Prof S K Mehta, Vice-Chancellor, University of Ladakh, Leh in presence of Prof Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu; Prof Ashok Sharma, Registrar, Dr Amjad Ali Abbasi, Principal GDC, Drass, University of Ladakh, and other faculty and administrative staff of both the Institutes. Speaking on the occasion, Prof S K Mehta, Vice Chancellor, University of Ladakh, said that the collaboration with IIM Jammu will help to develop competence in many key areas ranging from the development of educational and training programs, long-range planning, development of entrepreneurship, better exposure for faculty, students, and Institutional development. While addressing audience, Prof Ashok K Sharma, Registrar, University of Ladakh said that the signing of the MoU will pave the path for the growth and development of the University of Ladakh and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
