The NSS unit and Physical Education Department, University of Ladakh, Leh Campus organized a Cycle Rally on 3rd June, 2023 to celebrate "World Bicycle Day". The day is aimed at making people more active through simple activities, including cycling. The Dean Students Welfare and NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. Jigmat Dachen flagged off the rally from the Campus in the presence of the other staff members. The Rally was conducted from University Campus to Taru Tokpo and back covering around 5 kms. The objective of the cycle rally was to highlight the advantages of cycling and promoting the use of bicycles. All participants were filled with enthusiasm. After completion of the rally, refreshments were also distributed.
