Student Exchange Program: Day-2-Tourism products of Ladakh, Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Stok Village Hemis Monastry

Press Note/RELEAse Date of Event: 03-10-2023 Venue of Event: Leh, Ladakh Student Exchange Program: Day-2-Tourism products of Ladakh, Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Stok Village Hemis Monastry Department of Travel and Tourism Management (DTTM), University of Ladakh is hosting students and faculty members from School of Vocational Studies, Ambedkar University Delhi under Student Exchange Program. It is an eight days residential program which involves an acclimatization walk, cultural familiarization, exposure to tourism products and resources of Ladakh, Speakers talk on tourism and final day will include presentations from the students. On 03-10-2023, it was Day-2 of the student exchange program escorted by Ms. Tsering Chusket and Ms Fatima Suqra. Ms Namgyal Lamo, Ms, Nazuma Banoo, Mr. Mubarak, Mr Jorphel and Mr. Roshan had a power point presentation to guest members on Stok village, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hemis Monastery, Chamba & Local Language, and Magnetic Hill & Sangam respectively. The students were taken to above mentioned destinations for pragmatic exposure about the tourism products of Ladakh and followed by experience sharing. We are thankful to Prof. S. K. Mehta, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Ladakh for his vision and the path of opportunities he lays down for students and faculty members of University of Ladakh. We are also thankful to Registrar, Dean Academic Affair, Dean Research and Dean Student Welfare for their support and commitment to make this program successful.
