Guest Lecture on Astronomy by expert from ISRO (Ex Affiliation

Press Note/Release Date of Event: 22-10-2023 Venue of Event: Online Guest Lecture on Astronomy by expert from ISRO (Ex Affiliation) Department of Travel and Tourism Management (DTTM), University of Ladakh conducted a guest lecture for 3rd Semester students, MSc Zoology. These students are pursuing Multi-Disciplinary (MD) course, Astronomy and Astro Tourism at DTTM. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Sachin Chauhan, Ex ISRO Astronomer on Basic Astronomy, and use of different software to make sky map of celestial events, satellite passage, light pollution area and importance of Ladakh as Atro Tourism Destination. The Department of Travel and Tourism Management is thankful to Mr. Sachin Chauhan for this worth learning opportunity to our students through this lecture.
