Vigilance awareness Week Celebration at University of Ladakh in association with Power Grid, Phyang Organised by NSS Unit of University of Ladakh Date 5-nov-2022 A Week of Vigilance was observed by NSS UNIT OF University of Ladakh in collaboration with Power Grid, Phyang, Leh. A painting contest was held at Leh campus, University of Ladakh. About 100 participants took part in the activity, 20 of whom came from the Delhi Public School in Leh. Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation and Swachh Bharat were the topics for the competition, respectively. Power Grid, Phyang, sponsored the event. Along with the teachers and participants, Registrar, Prof. Ashok Kumar Sharma, University of Ladakh, and the honorary guest Mr. Susheel, Chief Manager, Power Grid, Phyang, Dr. Aseem Vashisht, Programme Coordinator NSS, and Dr. Jigmet Deachen, Dean of Student Welfare attended the function. Stanzin Chospel took first place among the students, while Fatima Souqra of the TTM department took first place among university participants. Dr. Aseem Vashisht, Programme Coordinator NSS, and Dr. Jigmet Deachen, Dean of Student Welfare at UOL coordinated the event. The organizing committee included representatives from Power Grid including Mr. Susheel, Chief Manager, Mr. Phyang, Mr. Neeraj, Junior Engineer, and Dr. Sharanjeet Dhawan, Dr. Qutsia Tabasum and Dr. Stanzin Angmo. Registrar, Uol Congratulated the NSS Unit for successfully organizing an event that attracted sufficient number of participants.
