Dept. of TTM organised a trek to Taru village today as part of Adventure Tourism activity. Students of both 2nd and 4th semesters participated in the trek wherein students learnt how to conduct a trekking activity for tourists and also had a practical session on tour guiding for adventure activities. Students also identified opportunities in tourism for Taru village in terms of rural tourism and farm tourism which could be developed in the coming years. The trek served as an important practical lesson as well as a fun-filled activity for students. Detailed press note to follow soon.
