University Of Ladakh and Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS) jointly celebrated G20 awareness program on environmental and socio economical issues of Ladakh region (27/03/2023)

University Of Ladakh and Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS) jointly celebrated G20 awareness program on environmental and socio economical issues of Ladakh region. The Department of Zoology, Dept. Of Mathematics and Dept. Of Forensic Science jointly arranged this program. The Respected Registrar and Assistant Registrar of the University of Ladakh graced the occasion with their presence. While addressing the gathering the Registrar encouraged and emphasized the students for adoption of innovative skills in their routine activities in order to protect and preserve the fragile environment of Ladakh. Further focusing on tourism, the respected Registrar mentioned the importance of saving of water in the midst of tourism season in the region. He stressed on the participation of student volunteers to aware the visiting tourists regarding the saving of water and proper garbage disposal in the region. The name of the schools who participated in different events are Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Leh, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Leh, Kendra Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
