Ladakh University Inter Department Volleyball tournament

Press Release Place: Leh Date: 12-09-2023 Ladakh University Inter Department Volleyball tournament An Inter-Departmental Volleyball Tournament (Mens/women) organized by the Department of Physical Education & Sports, Leh Campus, University of Ladakh, came to end today (12-09-2023) with Price distribution Ceremony. Total 16 Teams (Men’s/women’s) from different Department of the Leh Campus participated in the 4 Days tournament. In the Men’s final match played between the Department of Physical Education and Department of Zoology, the former won by 2-0. In the Women’s final match the Department of Physical Education won over the Department of Mathematic by 2-0 score. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. S K Mehta was the chief guest on the occasion, while Shree Mukesh Kumar, Yuva Bharat was the Guest of Honour. The programme was attended by faculty members, non-teaching staff and hundreds of students were present during the event. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor commended the Department of Physical Education for successful organization of the tournament and urged the students to take active part in co-curricular activities organized by the university.
