Ambedkar Jayanti, observed annually on April 14th

PRESS RELEASE CELEBRATION OF AMBEDKAR JAYANTI Today, faculty and student of Political Science Department has celebrated the birth anniversary of one of India’s most revered social reformers and architects of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. Ambedkar Jayanti, observed annually on April 14th, serves as a poignant reminder of his enduring legacy and tireless efforts towards social justice, equality, and empowerment for all. On this Occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Dr.Mehdi Ali faculty Department of Political Science-Kargil Campus highlighted the B.R. Ambedkar’s life and teachings continue to inspire millions across the globe, transcending barriers of caste, creed, and gender. He also discusses the Ambedkar’s determined and commitment regarding the eradicate of social discrimination, affirmative actions and uplift of the marginalized sections of society and more inclusive and equitable world. Dr. Gulam Murtaza faculty Department of Political Science-Kargil Campus in his lecture highlighted Ambedkar’s initiatives during pre-independence and post-independent, He also highlighted the biography and academic works of Bhim Rao Ambedkar. On this occasion student of Political Science also screened a documentary on Dr. B.R.
