School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Stakna, Leh – University of Ladakh Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervor The School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SAS&T), Leh – University of Ladakh, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Prof. D. Namgyal, Associate Director. The unfurling of the Tricolour was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by the students and faculty of SAS&T. In his address, Prof. D. Namgyal highlighted the significance of Independence Day, paying tribute to the freedom fighters whose sacrifices made India’s independence possible. He also emphasized the importance of preserving the values and principles for which they struggled. The event concluded with a patriotic song performance by Mr. Anayat Hussain, a B.Sc. Agriculture (3rd Semester) student, and a vibrant dance creating a spirited and memorable celebration.
